The Uphams Corner Charter School is a free, public, charter school located in Boston, Massachusetts. We believe in whole character formation, and the creation of students who are intelligent and outspoken. In addition to our rigorous academics in the arts and sciences, we have a championship winning interscholastic athletic program.* We have been competing against other Massachusetts Charter Schools since 2006. Our teams compete in coed soccer, in the fall, and boys and girls basketball, as part of the Massachusetts Charter School Basketball League, during the winter.
Our teams teach students how to be competitive at high levels, we stress sportsmanship in victory and in defeat, and we try to instill a sense of overall fair play.
This season our soccer team will look to build on its debut season, where they finished 1-2-2. The schedule will consist of games against South Shore Public Charter School, Marblehead Community Charter School, Roxbury Prep Charter School, Salem Academy Charter School, and Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School (Marlborough).
In the winter our boys will enter their third season, and begin their defense of the Massachusetts Charter School Cup. Meanwhile our girls will work to improve on their 6-11 debut season.
Keep checking in on this page as our seasons progress.
